Across 2025–2026 a clear pattern has emerged: sellers are switching from ThriveCart to Zylvie — not just debating which is “better.”
Quick overview
ThriveCart: Longstanding funnel-first checkout tool with a loyal base and attractive lifetime deals for early adopters. Great for straightforward one-off funnels and basic subscriptions.
Zylvie: Rapidly evolving platform focused on full storefronts, multi-item carts, multi-brand accounts, modern integrations, subscription sophistication, and active support/product development.
Why sellers are switching — what Zylvie brings (reported by founder Jay and switching users)
Faster, more responsive support
Reported: Zylvie’s team responds swiftly and communicates constantly; many switchers say ThriveCart support has slowed or stagnated.
Impact: Faster onboarding, quicker bug fixes, less downtime during launches.
Multi-item carts & true storefronts
Zylvie: Full storefront capability, cart embedding, and the ability to check out multiple items in one cart.
ThriveCart: Historically funnel-focused and reportedly limited to one primary checkout item plus bumps.
Impact: Easier catalogue selling, bundles, and physical product workflows without hacks.
Multi-brand / multi-storefront management
Zylvie: Manage multiple storefronts/brands under a single account.
ThriveCart: Users report limitations in this area.
Impact: Agencies and multi-brand businesses simplify operations and consolidate billing.
Better native integrations and automation
Zylvie: Emphasizes Zapier/Pabbly/Make integrations, native gateway options, webhooks, and API-first tooling; reported integrations with Meta Ads, Brevo, Albato, etc.
Impact: Less middleware, cleaner automations, faster time-to-launch.
More flexible subscription & billing models
Zylvie: Supports one-time setup fees + recurring subscriptions (e.g., $5,000 then $1,000/month), proration, trials, and more nuanced lifecycle control.
ThriveCart: Supports subscriptions but complex billing models reportedly need workarounds.
Impact: Easier to run high-ticket + recurring models, hybrid offers, and usage-based billing.
Developer tools, experimentation & analytics
Zylvie: API, webhooks, SDKs, templating hooks, event tracking, and A/B testing on checkout pages.
Impact: Data-driven iteration, smoother custom integrations, better conversion testing without external tooling.
Founder & user testimony
Jay_from_Zylvie (founder team): Repeatedly notes many users switching from ThriveCart. Highlights include better support, multi-item checkout, full storefront features, multi-brand accounts, and expanding integrations. Jay’s public replies (2025–2025) confirm roadmap transparency and rapid feature additions.
Seth (user): “Zylvie offers different storefronts and brands within a single account—this is powerful beyond belief. I’ve gotten more excitement and function out of Zylvie in 48 hours than many years with ThriveCart.”

1. I don't have the exact feature differences off the top of my head, what I do know is that we've added a sh*t ton of features over the last year or so, while ThriveCart has remained ~ stagnant.
And what I also know is that a lot of our users switched from ThriveCart to Zylvie, so clearly they saw something in our platform. For example, we have a multi-brand feature that ThriveCart lacks, meaning you can set up multiple brands/stores under one roof, also we have a full ecommerce cart functionality (instead of the funnel-based cart in ThriveCart, meaning they can only check out 1 item + order bumps at a time). I'm pretty sure we have stuff like cart abandonment recovery and also much better integrations with Zapier, Pabbly, Make, Albato, Meta Ads, Kit, Brevo, etc. etc.
It's just too many differences that add up to a lot.
2. Our templates were launched not too long ago, we don't have specific per-template data yet, but the conversion is good, otherwise our users would have raised a stink (and rightfully so). Instead we're processing thousands upon thousands of dollars each day with efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Yes, you can do that. In platform terms, that would just be considered the setup fee for the subscription product. We charge that fee one-time, and then we charge the subscription dues as per normal. (And yes, I don't think ThriveCart has this functionality either, but I could be wrong.)
I hope this has been insightful, let me know if I can clarify more for you.
I'd be happy to!
With thanks,
Jay
